New tools for cancer research: Plasminogen Activation System antibodies
As the search for important cancer biomarkers continues BioPorto Diagnostics is now able to offer a new group of monoclonal antibodies against components of the Plasminogen Activation System – components that are currently thought to play an important role in cancer development.

NGAL - marker for nephrotoxicity in rats?
BioPorto Diagnostics is pleased to introduce the monoclonal antibodies, which will enable researchers to measure NGAL
in rats, as a potential marker for acute renal injury. This could be the way to detect nephrotoxicity of e.g. pharmaceutical drug candidates.
Human IgE (non-immune)
This antigen is an affinity purified, fully human IgE antibody, produced in vitro from a monoclonal hybridoma. The monoclonal source of IgE ensures high reproducibility and is free from other immunoglobulins. The very low batch-to-batch variation makes this antibody well suited as a standard in IgE quantifying assays. Other applications include immunochemistry and cellular immunology research.

Early diagnosis of acute renal failure in
- Cardiac surgery
- Nephrotoxicity
- Kidney transplants
Anti-NGAL (monkey) antibody available
The new monoclonal antibody ABS 038-23 is specific for the monkey NGAL and is selected specifically for the ability to form an ELISA sandwich pair with biotinylated HYB 211-02.
The antibody pair is for research use only and can assay early nephrotoxicity of pharmacological compound in monkeys on an ELISA platform. It is expected to find use in the area of pre-clinical studies and acute kidney injury research.
