Anti MHC class I alpha chain (chicken)

mouse monoclonal antibody

Cat.No. KSK 001-03

Subclass IgG1/k
Presentation:

Preparation: Protein-A/G purified
Content: Available in 200 µL and 1 mL
Concentration: 1 mg/mL
Solvent: 0.01 M phosphate buffer, pH 7.4, with 0.5 M NaCl and 15mM sodium azide
Storage: In the dark at 4-8ºC

Antigen:

The chicken major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I is similar to the mammalian MHC class I consisting of a polymorphic alpha chain (45 kDa) non covalently bound to b2-microglobulin (12-14 kDa). MHC class I is expressed on most nucleated cells in chicken, including the red blood cells.

Immunogen:

White blood cells from chicken plasma

Specificity:

KSK 001-03 reacts with the alpha chain of chicken MHC class I, both native and denatured.

Epitope specificity:

Reacts with a non-polymorphic epitope on chicken MHC class I alpha chain

Reactivity:

KSK 001-03 is suitable for Western blotting, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, and affinity purification on chicken MHC class I.

Application:
