Polio (acute poliomyelitis, infantile paralysis) is caused by a virus, which may infect the nervous system and cause lasting paralysis. Poliovirus is a single-stranded RNA virus and a member og the Picornavirus family. There are three seperate types of the virus: type 1, type 2, and type 3.
Poliovirus type 3 (inactivated)
There is no cross reactivity with type 1 and 2.
Overlapping with that of HYB 300-06
HYB 300-05 reacts well in ELISA and we recommend using this antibody in a sandwich assay with HYB 300-06 as catching antibody and biotinylated HYB 300-05 as detection antibody.
