Leptin, also called obesity factor, is a protein produced by adipose tissue, which has a regulatory influence on food intake, energy metabolism and reproduction. Leptin may also play a role in immune and inflammatory responses and hematopoiesis
Recombinant human leptin adsorbed onto aluminium hydroxide gel
ABS 022-11 binds human leptin
Cross-reactivity with other species has not been determined
The epitope of ABS 022-11 differs from the epitope of ABS 022-03 but overlaps with the epitope of ABS 022-06
ABS 022-11 binds free leptin in solution. The ELISA dilution guideline applies to leptin coated directly at 1.0 mg/mL. In sandwich ELISA, bioyinylated ABS 022-11 works as a detection antibody with ABS 022-03 as capture antibody.
