February at a glance
BioPorto has received a very positive evaluation of the patentability of its submitted NGAL patent claims. BioPorto’s IP rights in this area are expected to play a decisive role in the com-pany’s future. This will be reflected in the com-pany’s strategic planning and future business initiatives. The month has otherwise been occupied by the annual accounts. The Danish Securities Council determined that no new annual report for 2005 need be issued but that all necessary corrections should appear in the comparative figures for 2005 in the report for 2006, published earlier than usual on March 7, 2007. Agreements with important collaborative partners were renegotiated in February.
